As part of DataWorks Summit, we’ll be including a wide range of community-focused events to satisfy most interests: come join us for various meetups and Birds of Feathers sessions that are free and open to the greater community.
We’re thrilled to feature 7 different meetups the evening before DataWorks Summit on 5/21, ranging in topic from AI opportunities in healthcare and cybersecurity to big data and cloud security. You can find out all the details on our Community Mega Meetup page – don’t forget that you’ll need to RSVP for the meetup you wish to attend on the corresponding meetup page!
The Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions are informal discussion groups, where attendees group together based on a shared interest and engage in discussions. Come and network with Apache Committers, PMC members, and users to discuss requirements, use cases, and the future of these projects. From machine learning operations to IoT, streaming, and data flow, we’ll be discussing the latest innovations without a pre-planned agenda. For all the details on our BoFs which take place at 4pm on 5/22, please visit the agenda page.
If you are interested in the meetups or BoFs, you may also be interested in attending the Women in Big Data lunch or NoSQL Day. These fill up fast, so make sure to register for them as soon as possible! Note: Unlike the other community events at DataWorks Summit, NoSQL Day is an additional charge and registration is separate.
We hope to see you at one of our community-focused events next week!
